Original & Multifaceted Artistic Director / A&R / DJ / Producer / Label Owner dedicated to Electronic Music, Matías began his musical career after his firsts Mutek & Earthdance Festival in 2004. Since then Matías has been present in the national and international scene, always researching new styles and sounds that led him to develop various important projects today and through these he has reached many places and people around the world. Throughout his career MAT has worked with the largest producers in the industry. This has allowed him to play at the most clubs, festivals and venues including events ranging from the most mainstream to the most experimental such as TOMORROWLAND, BPM FESTIVAL, BOILER ROOM, MYSTERYLAND, ULTRA MUSIC FEST, LOLLAPALOOZA Sideshow, CREAMFIELDS, The ARMANI EXCHANGE Parade, Follakzoid “12” vinyl release, Museo de Artes Contemporaneas (MAC – Modern Art Museum), The CAROLINA HERRERA Fashion Show, Cariola Theater, Huemul Theater and share performance with artist like MARCO CAROLA, NIC FANCIULLI, NINETOES, SEBO K, RODRIGUEZ JR, MARK NIGHT, JAMES ZABIELA, BELLA SARRIS, KOLOMBO, STEFANO NOFERINI, MIHAI POPOVICIU, NICOLE MOUDABER, CLAPTONE, ALEXI DELANO, SATOSHI TOMIIE, MATTHEW DEAR, TIEFSCHWARZ, PACOU among others. In their presentations he included the set he played for ART DEPARTMENT managing to enter the TOP 100 BEATPORT MIX Dj as well as the set that was programmed into FM RADIO ZERO he maneged the "32" place in that competition. He won the second place in the competition PACIFIC INDIE REMIX CONTEST and shared releases with VA MUSIC, WHOYOSTRO, CONCEPTUAL among others. He is an exclusive part as a certified teacher and trainer of DJ SCHOOL MUSIC ACADEMY, forming up to now over 100 new trained students. In this way, Matias shares and gives his professional knowledge to new talents in their begginings of the pratice, search and global musical experimentation of electronic music. He is also one of the owners of VA MUSIC RECORDS, which has been growing in time, becoming one of the most new respected Chilean Independent label and Working with on a series of high impact releases alongside a focused, strong A&R and promotional work, that have helped to enhance the reputation and credibility of VA Music. Besides his musical career, Matias also dedicates some of his time to business ventures and modern art.
